Summary:

okay guys! i have had this idea running around in my mind for months!  basically Will is actually the son of Helen, John and/or Tesla (preferably all three but not needed) now they know before will does, and he finds out and being stubborn doesnt believe them.

I dont mind how it goes thats up to you but i would like to see what people come up with.

Rules:

1) its a John/Helen/Tesla or John/Helen or Tesla/Helen

2) Will can be younger if you like as long as you explain how he thinks he is older then he is

3) i'd rather no relationship for Will but i can ignore it if you want to do one but please please please Not Will/Kate!!!!

4) if you want you can do a cross over (maybe Moonlight?)

Summary: This was the challenge for the November 2007 Minific Challenge on the Sanctuary Fan Forum.

What is it?
A mini work of fiction ranging from between 500 to 5000 words, though the length should be appropriate to the story.

Theme: An improbable comedic scene that would NEVER take place in Sanctuary!

Suggestions & ideas for the Minific:
These are only suggestions - feel free to select one or create your own!

* Bigfoot’s daycare
* Helen flunks a driving test – again!
* Helen at a PTA meeting or being called to the principal’s office over Ashley’s behavior…
* A “family” picnic that goes horribly awry
* What happened the FIRST time Ashley met a vampire.
* Helen buying groceries for her patients at the local market
* The story behind the photo of Helen and Einstein (or any of the other improbable photos we've seen so far)
* Helen being given her first corset!
* Helen & Ashley on a shopping expedition
* Ashley (child chess prodigy) in a tournament she's losing
* Ashley's needlepoint/music lessons as a child
* Helen on justifying her tax deductions or applying for a "new construction loan" at the bank (to repair the Sanctuary)

These are just suggestions to help you generate ideas. You may use them or come up with totally new scenes.

Summary:

This is the official fic challenge for February 2008.

Well it seems like most of our writers were too busy with their own new year's resolutions last month to worry about Helen and the team's new beginnings. But a huge well done to Yunadax who wrote not one, but TWO fantastic stories for the challenge, which can be found over at Sanctuary fiction.

This month theme, of course is love, with it being February, of course.

This does not have to be of the romantic variety. You can write about your favourite ship, forbidden love or unrequited love, or you might choose something a little different, such as the unconditional love of a mother for her daughter, or the love that makes the foundation for friendship.

This month's challenge will give us a fantastic opportunity to explore character voice, emotions and look at the internal workings of our favourite teams. Are you going to write in the present, do a period piece set in the past, or perhaps even explore the future?

You have, as always, until the end of the month, and the word limits are 500-5000 words.

Have fun and let the juices flow!

Summary:

This is the official Sanctuary Fiction Challenge for the month of March 2008 and will continue into April 2008.  Mad March is all about Alternate Realities and Timelines, revelations that turn the Sanctuary World upside down.

What if Ashley were evil? What if John Druitt was the good force in the universe? What if the Sanctuary team met SG1?

This month's challenge is about creativity and allowing your mind to take you wherever you want, free of the canonical constraints.

Because Alternate Realities and Timelines take a lot of exposition, not only am I extending the challenge to the end of April (to run simultaneously with the April Challenge), but I am lifting the upper word limit to encourage longer works.

Have fun!

Summary:

This is the Sanctuary Forum Fiction Challenge for JANUARY 2008. The theme is "New Beginnings" and could be anything from new year's resolutions to major changes in the lives of our favourite Sanctuarians.

As usual, the piece should be between 500 and 5000 words long and should be submitted here as part of this challenge to be considered for the contest.

Thank you and have fun!

Summary: Hello everyone!

It's been a few months since our last fic challenge, and I sincerely apologise for that. Changes in circumstances in my work and personal life have meant I wasn't able to do the challenge for a while.

However...

We're back!

This month's theme is Sanctuary For All. I originally slotted this theme for March/April following an interview where Martin Wood talked about Sanctuaries around the world, not just the seminary, a sort of world organisation. Following hints from Damian about Rome and the Himalayas, it seems more appropriate than ever that we do a World Sanctuary Challenge.

The challenge, as always, is to write a fic of at least 500 words on the given theme. The theme this month is to choose a Sanctuary from another country. You could write about how that Sanctuary was founded, an issue where they had to fly Helen in to help them, or perhaps where Helen has needed their help.

Summary: As you are aware, technical difficulties mean that the Sanctuary fic site has been inaccessible. The problems have now been fixed, but as such, I am leaving the August Fic Challenge (Which has NO entries) open for September as well.

However, I still want the challenge to continue and this is a special month for us as Sanctuary fans. Because Sanctuary the TV series starts in less than a month. This means that September is our last chance to play with the webisodes, unsullied and untainted by the TV version ;)

So, our challenge this month is "Webisodes". Write a missing scene, a tag to a scene, an extra webisode, perhaps even write Webisode 9.

If you got overlooked for the story pitch, this is the perfect chance to show the world your writing skills in fic form and get recognition for that talent! Perhaps you already have fics that are appropriate and fit the bill?

All welcome! Please join in and have fun!
