This snippet is a sort of 'before any of the webisodes prelude' to Sanctuary. 

The piece is a conversation between Dr. Helen Magnus and Mr. Montague John Druitt while the Abnormal is still a patient in the care of the good Doctor back in the 1880's - and just about to become something more.

It contains a bit of medical-esque discussion, and more than a little foreshadowing about the future of each character, and of their relationship. 

No rough language or violence is contained herein.  Oblique, doctor/patient discussion of a Victorian experimental medical  therapy, in which the word 'embryo' is used, does occur. 

What I thought happened after wep eight. Seriously, the title explains it all.

I tried to post this chapter by chapter, but I think I did something wrong so I deleted it and am now posting it as one loooong fic.

It is 'Teen' because of some slight violence, and the characters are whumped. I didn't do it, I swear! I even fixed them up all better at the end! Well, almost. ;-) Oh, and there's like, half a bad word, but I used astericks (*) for it. So nyah. :-P

Will and Magnus have always had faith in each other in good times and bad ones. The events of “Veritas” did nothing to change that but Will’s still shaken by them and, as always, Magnus is there when he needs her. Hurt/comfort, friendship.
